Black Sherif’s career began in 2019 with the publication of his song “Cry for Me” on YouTube. On May 25, 2020, his debut single “Money” was released, coupled with a music video.

His song “First Sermon” was released in May 2021, expanding his fan base even further. “Second Sermon,” the song’s sequel, was released in July and featured a remix by fellow African musician Burna Boy.
