I want to marry a woman from Volta Region – Akufo Addo
President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made a comment that has got many Ghanaians talking.
President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo speaking in an interview while on a tour of the Volta Region made a comment that he wants to marry from the Volta Region of Ghana.

In the interview, President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo said “You know my basic position that I’ve taken, and seeing you, of course, it’s heightened it: my determination to marry in the Volta Region, and I keep on knocking on the door, looking forward to the day the door will be open. We’ll keep on till the day the door is open,”
Even though most people consider the statement from the President as a joke, some Ghanaians think that the comments from the President is a bad one as he is already married Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
