Canadian radio and television journalist Peter Armstrong is employed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He presented the CBC News Network business news program On the Money and is currently a CBC News economics reporter (which was cancelled on June 28, 2018). He was born in Oakville, Ontario, and is the son of writer Sally Armstrong.

Prior to working for CBC Radio in Quebec City, he attended Acadia University and Université Laval. Then, he relocated to Saint John, Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver before beginning work in 2006 in the CBC’s Jerusalem desk.

In the year 2009, he relocated back to Canada and began working as the morning news presenter for World Report on CBC Radio One. She received the award for Do No Harm, her documentary about Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish.
