The Member of Parliament for the Assin Central constituency, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has allegedly joined the race to become a flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party.

According to the Daily Guide Newspaper report on Saturday 7th May, 2022 , the famous lawmaker has joined the like of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumi, Mr. Kojo Alan kyremanteng, Dr. Afriyie Akoto among others who have been rumoured to be planning to contest to fill President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s shoes.
However, the lawmaker Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is yet to speak on the report as to whether he has plans to replace President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the leader and flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party.
