Kennedy Agyapong announces his Intention to contest for President.
The member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency, Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has officially stated that he is joining the contest to become the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Speaking in an interview with Citi Tv during the party’s conference to elect a new leadership for the country, the renowned lawmaker indicated that he wants to be given the opportunity to become the president of the country.
This statement from Hon. Kennedy Agyapong indicates that he will be joining the likes of the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Trade Minister Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen among others to contest for the flagbearer slot of the New Patriotic Party.
