DVLA put in Place New Measures for License Acquisition
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, (DVLA) is to begin using a new system in licensing of vehicles and drivers in the country.
According to the announcement made by the presidency of the country, the DVLA will roll out a new Paperless registration and licensing of system.
will begin by July the Government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced.
The Presidency in a tweet on Wednesday June 15, 2022 said “DVLA systems and the Ghana Card platform will be fully integrated by July 2022 to facilitate paperless registration of vehicles and licensing of drivers while ensuring easy processing of documents.”
The government also said that the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) and the Ghana Card will be fully integrated soon to facilitate getting license.
According to the government, such systems are been to reduce the human element in the services being provided by most government institutions.
