Cedi has lost 76.05% of it’s Value under President Nana Akufo Addo

The Ghanaian currency, the Cedi has lost a lot of value under the leadership of President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo since he was inaugurated in 2017.

According to a renowned economics Professor Steve Hanke, the Cedis has lost 76.05% of its value against the U.S Dollar since January, 2017.

Professor Steve Hanke in a statement said ” Starting with Akufo-Addo’s inauguration as President in 2017, the Ghanaian cedi has lost 76.05% of its value against the U.S Dollar. Need I say more?

This depreciation of the value of the cedi has brought many negative economic impact onto citizens in the form of High cost of Goods and Services.
